Serving Bartow County, Etowah Valley Humane Society began in 1996, as an adoption outlet for Bartow County Animal Control. In October of 2006, EVHS opened the doors of the new shelter located at 36 Ladds Mountain Road, in Cartersville, Georgia. They provide income-based assistance to pets in need of spay/neuter along with other medical and supplies.
